Item Type: Engine Interface Module Number: 630 466 Mode: EIM PLUS859767 Material: Flame retardant and high temperature resistant ABS Product Voltage: 24V DC Product Features: The engine interface module is a sealed module installed on the engine, which provides switching relays for the starting motor solenoid valve, glow plug and fuel solenoid valve. Each of these circuits is protected by a separate fuse installed in the module. When each circuit is energized, a single LED illuminates. EIM Plus: The ElIM Plus is used with a control panel that is not equipped with an overspeed shutdown. Overspeed signal (EIM Plus only) The ElM Plus monitors the speed signal from the magnetic sensor. If the engine speed rises above a preset value, the module sends a 0 volt signal to the generator set control panel to activate the overspeed fault circuit. Overspeed setpoints are factory set to 55 Hz (50 Hz units) and 66 Hz (60 Hz units). This can be adjusted using the adjustment screw that is accessed through the hole next to the overspeed setting LED. When the engine is running at rated speed (1500 rpm at 50 Hz and 1800 rpm at 60 Hz), adjust the adjusting screw until the overspeed setting LED just goes out. This sets the overspeed value to 10% above the generator set operating speed.
