FOR ELV/Steering Lock Emulator Features: MK2751 compatible with BMW E90, E91, E92, E93, E60, E61, E63, E64, and MINI R55, R56. Emulates the ELV (Electronic Steering Lock) module. After connection, it operates as a plug-and-play device—no coding required. It becomes active without additional hardware or complex installation. It supports locking and unlocking functions via communication with the CAS/ELV module. Overview: The ELV is an electronic steering lock integrated into the steering column. When faulty, the vehicle may not start—even with a fully functional key—because the ELV fails to activate. In such cases, dealers typically replace and reprogram the entire ELV unit, which is time-consuming and costly. This ELV emulator provides a functional bypass solution for a confirmed faulty ELV. It emulates a working steering lock to restore normal operation. Note: - Diagnostic trouble codes and system memory may need to be cleared using a compatible diagnostic tool. - Installation must be performed by a qualified technician. - Resetting fault codes requires a specialized diagnostic tool. - This emulator is intended only for vehicles where the ELV has been diagnosed as defective. - It is designed to emulate a fully operational steering lock. - Installation guide is not included.
