Shiro Miso Sweet in Bag with Cap- Terrasana's Soy Paste with White Rice is a mild, gluten-free Japanese condiment, authentically made from fermented soybeans and white rice. Fermentation period: 2-6 weeks. Shiro miso is made from organic soybeans and white rice. Partly because the fermentation process only takes two to six weeks, the taste is mild and slightly sweet. Umami can also be tasted well. Shiro miso is authentically made in Japan, ferments for 2-6 weeks, and is 100% gluten free. It pairs well with cabbage, carrot-like veggies, and ginger, but is also delicious in snack and dessert processing (ice cream ). Shiro miso is often mixed with other misos in Japan. Shiro miso is the softest of the four types of miso. It is recommended to use 1 tablespoon as a substitute for a bouillon cube or 200 ml of miso soup (light). Use as a base for salsa, marinade or dressing or use in dessert, ice cream or hummus. After opening, store in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
