Patchwork Flat Head Pins 100 Pcs

200 flat-head sewing pins in two complementary styles: 100 bow-tie (42 mm) and 100 plum blossom (52 mm), each featuring stainless steel shafts and vivid plastic flower heads. All pins are uniformly thin (0.5 mm), sharply pointed, and fully rust-resistant. The flat head design eliminates lift or drag on fabric surfaces — critical for accurate piecing in English paper piecing or foundation paper quilting. Supplied in a robust, transparent plastic box with internal ridge separation to prevent mixing of lengths and enable one-handed access. Ideal for UK quilters working with precuts (fat quarters, jelly rolls), batik cottons, and hand-dyed linens — where minimal fabric distortion and repeatable accuracy define project success. Longer pins anchor batting and backing layers without slipping; shorter pins secure intricate corner matches and nested seams. The colour variety also supports visual mapping systems — e.g., red for seam allowances, blue for match points — enhancing process clarity. Used extensively in community sewing bees, adult education classes, and slow-stitching groups — praised for reliability across hand and machine applications, including basting, stay-stitching prep, and temporary embellishment anchoring.
