This box is compatible with control types EDC15 (diesel) and ME7. The EDC15 control for diesel engines is installed in models from 1999 onwards. The ME7 control for engines 1.6 I and above is also supported. Supported control unit types include ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1. Usage instructions: Simply plug the EDC15/ME7 box into the vehicle's diagnostic socket (OBD2). Then switch the OBD2 Drive Box to "OFF". After approximately 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be deactivated (IMMO OFF). No computer required. The LED on the tool will start flashing slowly, then flash rapidly after a few seconds, indicating that the immobilizer function is disabled. The vehicle will operate without a transponder key. To reactivate, switch the Drive Box back to "ON". After approximately 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be activated (IMMO ON). Compatible with models equipped with Motronic control units EDC15 (diesel) or ME7. Not suitable for 1.8T, 2.0TFSI, 1.4, and 1.6 engine models.
