The nRF52840 Dongle is a , low-cost USB dongle for Bluetooth low-power, Bluetooth, thread, ZigBee, 802.15.4, ANT and 2.4GHz proprietary applications using the nRF52840 SoC. Dongle is the perfect hardware for use with Connect for Desktop because it is inexpensive, still supports all short-range wireless standards used by Nordic devices. The dongle is designed to work with Connect for Desktop as a wireless hardware device. For other use cases, note that there is no debugging support on Dongle, only programming the device and communicating via USB. It is supported by most Connect for Desktop applications and will be automatically programmed as needed. In addition, you can make a custom app and download it to Dongle. It features -programmable RGB , green , -programmable buttons and 15 GPIOs that can be accessed through the solder joints along the edges of the .
