The MT6835 chip is MagnTek's latest fourth-generation magnetic angle encoder IC, a upgrade to the MT6825. Based on anisotropic magnetoresistive (AMR) technology and proprietary signal processing techniques, it achieves absolute angle measurement from 0° to 360°. The chip consists of a pair of AMR Wheatstone bridges and a signal processing ASIC. As the magnetic field parallel to the chip surface rotates, the chip outputs angle signals such as ABZ/UVW and PWM. Users can also read the chip's internal 21-bit absolute angle data via an SPI interface supporting up to 16MHz clock speed. It supports speeds up to 120,000 rpm. The MT6835 chip is suitable for a variety of applications requiring high-speed and high-precision control, such as closed-loop stepper motor control, 2500-line servo motor control, and 17-bit absolute servo motor control.
