The final effect lasts on average 7–14 days. How to apply for a streak-free tan: Exfoliate your body the day before application – it helps the tan last longer. Tan hands and feet last, using leftover mousse from the mitt – these areas absorb more bronzer and should appear lighter. Wait a few minutes before putting on dark, loose-fitting clothes. Leave the mousse on for 1–3 hours for a noticeable result; extend to up to 8 hours for a darker tone – even overnight. Rinse off with water only (45 seconds). A full shower is recommended after 8 hours. The final tan develops within 24 hours.
