Productveiligheidsinformatie

Raadpleeg de onderstaande productveiligheidsinformatie die specifiek is voor dit product

De volgende informatie wordt verstrekt door de onafhankelijke externe detailhandelaar die dit product verkoopt.

Veiligheidswaarschuwingen:
  • Hoya imbricata is an unusual epiphytic species whose round, shield-like leaves press flat against the surface they climb on, overlapping like roof tiles (hence "imbricata") and forming small cavities that shelter ants in the wild.
  • Potential risks
  • Toxicity: It is considered essentially non-toxic to cats, dogs and people; contact with the milky sap can nonetheless cause mild skin discomfort in sensitive individuals.
  • Child and pet safety: It is considered suitable for pet-owning households, with the recommendation that leaves not be chewed, to avoid digestive discomfort.
  • Handling: We recommend wearing gloves for larger pruning jobs and washing hands promptly if they contact the sap.
  • Precautions
  • Supervise young children near the plant to prevent leaf-biting.
  • Clean cutting tools well after use to remove the milky sap.
