GY61 ADXL335 3Axis Analog Output Accelerometer Module Angular Transducer 3V5V A compact, easytouse 3axis analog accelerometer module based on the ADXL335 sensor. The GY61 provides three independent analog outputs (X, Y, Z) that produce voltages proportional to acceleration, making it simple to read tilt, vibration, impact and motion with any microcontroller or ADCcapable device that accepts 3V–5V signals. Key benefits Direct analog outputs for X, Y and Z axes make integration straightforward with Arduino, ESP32, PIC and other microcontrollers with ADC inputs. Measures both static acceleration (tilt/gravity) and dynamic acceleration (motion/vibration), so it solves orientation and motiondetection problems without complex filtering or extra sensors. Small form factor and standard header pins reduce development time — mount it on a breadboard or solder into a compact project. Works from 3V to 5V power rails, offering broad compatibility across development platforms. What makes it useful Simple wiring: supply VCC (3–5V), GND, and read XOUT, YOUT, ZOUT with ADC channels. Analog outputs are centered near midsupply (zerog bias VCC/2), allowing measurement of positive and negative acceleration on each axis. Typical sensitivity is approximately 300 mV/g (typical at 3.3V supply), making it straightforward to convert voltages to acceleration values in g. Bandwidth and filtering can be adjusted using the onboard or sensor capacitors to match your application's response requirements. Notes and tips Raspberry Pi requires an external ADC because it has no builtin analog inputs. For accuracy, calibrate offset and sensitivity under your supply voltage and environmental conditions.
