With Inch and Metric Indicators on both sides, this steel ruler has clear and accurate scale, easy to read.. All four edges feature an engraved- scale incremented every 1/16th or 1mm depending on style-. The numbers- are engraved- by laser-, which can be used for tens of thousands of -times without wearing out. The side is marked- with 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 depth measurement units- to meet a variety of measurement needs-. When you need vertical measurement, slide the stop off the end and insert it into the cut-out blade- and then your rule has a perfect stand to keep it upright.
