The AS5048A is a high-resolution, 14-bit absolute magnetic rotary position sensor designed for precise and reliable angular measurement. It provides 16384 distinct positions per 360-degree revolution, delivering exceptional accuracy for demanding applications. The contactless magnetic sensing technology ensures a long operational life with no mechanical wear, as it requires no physical contact with the rotating shaft. Key features include flexible digital SPI and analog-style PWM outputs for easy integration with microcontrollers and control systems. The zero position is easily programmable via simple SPI commands, streamlining setup and calibration.
