This splitter is designed for use with ADSL broadband internet in the UK, featuring high-performance circuits to maintain high-quality telephone conversations while supporting ADSL line speeds. It plugs into a BT-style telephone socket and provides one telephone socket and one ADSL modem connector socket. Circuit protection is provided by standard central protection methods and additional built-in protection measures in the POTS splitter to guard against line overload, which could damage the splitter. BT to RJ11 allows a broadband modem to be connected alongside a standard telephone device. It filters out unwanted noise that may occur on the telephone line due to the ADSL signal.
