No additional greasing is necessary. The silicone mats are ideal for baking macarons, chocolate cookies, cinnamon rolls and home-baked bread as well as for preparing sticky caramel candies or baked salmon with garlic and lemon. They are also suitable as a base for simmering stew pans or overflowing fruit cakes, as they catch splashes and drops and thus keep the oven and baking tray clean and make the use of disposable aluminum foil superfluous. Unlike other baking trays and mats, the non-stick baking mats cannot be damaged by the use of spatulas or other metal kitchen utensils (although the use of utensils with serrated blades is not recommended). Cleaning up after baking is a breeze. The mats can easily be cleaned by hand with soap and water and then air dried. Alternatively, they can also be cleaned in the top compartment of the dishwasher.
