12dBi Omnidirectional LTE Antenna 5m

Approximate physical size: 23 cm (H) × 6.5 cm (W) × 6.5 cm (D). Housing combines metal elements for RF shielding and structural rigidity with impact-resistant plastic for UV and moisture protection. Supplied with 5m of RG174 coaxial cable — confirmed as the most appropriate cable type for high-frequency LTE applications due to its tight braid, low phase dispersion, and thermal stability. Nominal input impedance: 50 Ohms. Frequency response spans two continuous ranges: 698–960 MHz and 1710–2700 MHz — fully encompassing UK 3G (UMTS 2100, 900) and 4G (LTE 800, 1800, 2100, 2600) allocations. VSWR consistently under 2.5 ensures minimal reflected power and maximises delivered RF energy. Gain performance is 10–12 dBi depending on frequency sub-band. Radiation pattern is omnidirectional with vertical polarisation — ideal for non-line-of-sight environments. Rated maximum input power: 10W, aligning with typical output limits of consumer 4G CPE devices. No software, drivers or configuration required. Simply attach to any compatible router/modem with SMA, TS9 or CRC9 port, mount vertically using provided hardware, and power-cycle the device. Mounting components include two U-shaped brackets, two clip codes, four locking nuts and four rubber gaskets — sufficient for wall, eave or mast attachment. Colour: white (subject to minor variance due to screen/display differences). Tolerances: ±1–3 cm on dimensions; no other specifications subject to variation. Proven use cases: restoring usable broadband in listed buildings with thick stone walls, enabling stable Zoom/Teams calls from converted barns, extending coverage to summerhouses or workshops beyond main property footprint, and stabilising connections for IoT telemetry in farm or estate management systems where intermittent signal causes data gaps.
