Set the trigger-8639 is a solid-state or mechanical hard disk interface for 2.5-inch storage, which has PCI-E / SATA / SAS signals.<br><br><br><br>4 channels are exclusively for PC-E to directly connect to the CPU<br><br><br><br>2 channels&nbsp; are dedicated to SAS and SATA to connect HBA / RAID controller and chipset<br> It is essentially SATA expression, and the SATA-E physical interface is modified through the SATA 6 gbps interface, which is somewhat similar to the SAS interface. It uses 2 SATA 6 gbps interfaces and a mini SATA interface with only 4 pins.The small interface can only be connected to the PCI-E cable. The biggest advantage of this is to maintain backward compatibility. The design idea of the U.2 interface is similar to that of SATA-E, and use the existing physical interface as much as possible. But the bandwidth is faster, from PCI-E x2 to PCI-E 3.0 x4. In addition, many new protocol support has been added, such as NVMe, which are not available in the SATA E interface.
