Anchored by two psychoanalytic theories bioenergetic analysis developed by Alexander Lowen and affect theory put forth by Silvan Tomkins Fetta examines Latinx fiction to draw attention to the cultural role of the intelligent emotional and communicative bodythe somain relation to shame.
