This box is compatible with control types EDC15 (diesel) and ME7. The EDC15 control for diesel engines is installed in models from 1999 onwards. The ME7 control for engines from 1.6 I and above is supported, including control unit types ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1.Usage guide: Plug the EDC15/ME7 box into the vehicle's diagnostic socket (OBD2). Switch the drive box to "OFF" position. Within 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be deactivated (IMMO OFF), no computer required. The LED on the tool will flash slowly at first, then rapidly, indicating the immobilizer function is disabled. The vehicle will operate without a transponder key. To reactivate the immobilizer, switch the drive box to "ON" position. Within 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be activated (IMMO ON).Compatible with selected models equipped with Motronic EDC15 (diesel) or ME7 control units.
