Product Description: Color-enhancing stone finish to preserve the value of absorbent natural and artificial stones. Moisture, oils, grease, and aggressive contaminants can no longer penetrate. Moss, algae, mold, and efflorescence no longer find a breeding ground. Soiling caused by oil and grease splashes, wet leaves, fruit stains, coffee, red wine, etc., is much easier to remove. Also ideal for bridging leaks or hairline cracks (up to approx. 0.2 mm). Application: For: Color retention, structure retention, algae, lichen, moss, mold, efflorescence, moisture (e.g., from wet leaves), dirt, paint, oil, grease, staining, fruit stains, coffee, red wine. Properties: Penetrates deep into the surface and forms a wafer-thin protective film in the capillaries. The color and structure of the stone are enhanced. Algae, lichen, moss, and mold no longer find a breeding ground. Provides deep, effective protection against staining and simplifies cleaning. Flexible application options: With roller, sprayer, or brush. Instructions: The surface to be treated must be dry, clean, stain-free, and absorbent. Use only on unpolished and unsealed surfaces. The optimal application temperature is between +10°C and +25°C. Do not apply to very hot surfaces. Protect Color is applied sparingly and evenly using a spray (pressure sprayer, spray bottle) or brush (brush, foam roller, microfiber cloth, or microfiber mop). Do not apply too thickly. Wipe off any excess material completely with a cloth before it dries. The product must not be allowed to stand on the surface. (It must be completely absorbed.) On low-absorbent surfaces, apply Protect Color only a very thin layer and finish with a microfiber cloth/mop. When treating vertical surfaces, dripping should be avoided. Dripping spots should be removed immediately. The color deepening is usually immediately visible. On highly absorbent surfaces, a second coat may be necessary until visual saturation is achieved. Always wait approximately 10 minutes between each impregnation process. If applied correctly, the drying time is approximately 30 minutes. Only use the product undiluted. Treat only completely dry surfaces. For newly laid surfaces, a waiting period of approximately 8 weeks should always be observed. Wait approximately 3 days after a rain shower. Do not apply in strong sunlight, strong wind, or rain. Do not allow contact with glass surfaces. The freshly treated surface should be protected from rain for at least 24 hours. The surface can be fully used after 24 hours at the latest. For indoor use, adequate ventilation must be ensured. The color-deepening effect depends heavily on the base color, structure, and absorbency of the covering and, on extremely absorbent substrates, may only be clearly visible after several applications. Not all stone is created equal: Due to the varying properties, we recommend conducting a test application in a suitable area. Improper handling voids all liability for any damage. Coverage: approximately 5–25 m² / liter – depending on the absorbency of the substrate.
