Bi-directional DP switch: A DisplayPort switch allows you to connect two DP sources to one DP monitor, or connect one DisplayPort source to switch between two monitors.
(Important: Two monitors cannot be displayed at the same time) (When connected to a source or monitor, the splitter must be powered with a USB cable, if the splitter is not powered, the source or monitor will not be able to display anything)
Two modes:
1. Mode 1 (Splitter): One PC connected to two monitors
Note: 2 monitors cannot be displayed at the same time
2. Mode Two (Switching): Two PCs connected to a single monitor 8K Displayport adapter cable plug and play
Plug and Play: Requires external power, the DP selector box is easy to set up and operate.
Note: When in use, press the "Select" button to switch signals between two signal sources or displays, and the indicator light shows the working status.
Bidirectional DP switch note:
1. Switch a PC, and the display will show the contents of one PC;
2. Switch to another computer and the display will show the content of the other computer.
3. One computer is 8K and another computer is 4K, then the monitor is only 4K, which means the monitor depends on the lower one.
4. Two monitors cannot be displayed at the same time
5. We recommend that the total length of the wires at both ends, that is, the input and output wires, should not exceed 3 meters. If it is more than 3 meters, the signal may be blocked.
