Brass-Core Up-Down Sink Strainer

Dimensions: Inner fit range 1.02–1.2 inches (26–30 mm); supplied with 34 mm and 40 mm silicone sealing rings. Unit weight approx. 85 g. Materials: 304 stainless steel filter basket; solid brass core body; food-grade silicone sealing rings. Design: Fully removable basket with smooth up-down actuation; no moving parts beyond the vertical motion. Functional details: The brass core provides mass and stability — preventing floatation or displacement during draining, especially important in shallow UK basin wastes where light plastic stoppers often tilt or jam. The stainless steel basket has fine mesh geometry optimized to retain hair strands while allowing unrestricted water flow. Use cases: Optimized for UK domestic bathrooms — fits standard pedestal sinks (e.g., Bristan, Crosswater, Triton), acrylic shower trays, and small utility floor drains. Not intended for kitchen sinks or high-flow commercial applications.
