Our activated carbon filter plays a crucial role in keeping the air in your kitchen clean. It has been specially developed to effectively filter and neutralize grease and unpleasant food odors, including stubborn fish smells. Regularly replacing the filter can significantly reduce grease deposits in the kitchen. The result is healthier indoor air and a reduced risk of allergies. Thanks to its regenerable properties, the filter doesn't need to be replaced frequently. It can simply be regenerated in the oven every six months. This cleans it of deposits and restores its effectiveness. To do this, preheat your oven to a maximum of 200 degrees Celsius (convection setting) and let the removed odor filter regenerate in the oven for 120 minutes. Afterwards, allow the odor filter to cool sufficiently and reinstall it in your extractor hood. With regular adherence to the refresh and replacement intervals, the filter has a lifespan of approximately three years. This ensures that your extractor hood continuously delivers optimal performance and effectively eliminates unpleasant odors.
